VII. Notices for upgrading:

HART375 handheld communicator produced by Rosemount is a handheld communicator supporting HART protocol equipment. It is mainly used to configure, manage, maintain, adjust and monitor the process variables of HART intelligent instruments in industrial field. It can be comparable to ROSEMOUT-375 handheld communicator with similar functions, low price and good compatibility. With EasyUpgrade, the product can be upgraded for free for three years.

Note when upgrading: When DD files do not match the field transmitter, there may be problems with some functions.

In the process of 375 automatic upgrade, you must pay attention to the installation of random software in English operating system (using Win2000) in order to install successfully.

Perform the following steps to enter PC control mode:

1. From the main menu of HART 375, select Listen for PC.

2. Align IrDA interface of 375 field communicator with PC IrDA interface.

3. Use programming tools or AMS software package intelligent device manager to complete the necessary transmission; more detailed information can be referred to the online help of programming tools.

4. Click EXIT to close PC application control. If the new system software is downloaded to the system card of the 375 field communicator, the internal Flash will be updated.

1. Basic 375 includes field communicator device, system card, lead with connection terminal, suitcase, usage introduction, user manual, 375 resource CD, stylus and installation belt.

2. Users need to consider this option after they have 375 power supply/charger. Note: 375 battery pack can only be used with 375 power supply/charger.

3. Fast Upgrade allows users to add new system application software and device description (DD) to 375. If this performance is not available, the system card must be sent to the service center when upgrading.

4. For normal field applications, the battery pack can maintain power supply for 8 hours after it is fully charged. If more than 8 hours, a second battery pack is recommended.

5. 375 can store up to 25 configurations. If you want to increase the storage capacity, you can choose the expansion module, which can store more than 500 configurations.
